The Sacred Circle of Water Cow Skull

The Creator sends water to the earth that we may live.  It begins in the clouds as rain, filling icy mountain streams and rivers that flow to the ocean or dive deep into the heart of the earth before beginning its journey once again in the endless Circle of Life.  To guide the water’s journey through the circle, two spirit Rain Crows fly headfirst into the sky, where their colorful feathers rest in the heart of the Sacred Circle.

A note to animal lovers everywhere: All of the skulls that I use in my art originate from small, local family farms – not industrial feed lots or CAFO’s. Most often, these animals died of natural causes in the same fields where they lived out their lives.
